2026 Preseason Stroke School
Jump start the summer with stroke school! Stroke school provides swimmers with an opportunity to brush up on old skills and learn new ones in a small group setting. Please note that stroke school should not be considered a replacement for swim lessons. Your child should already feel comfortable in the water and able to safely swim.
Important Information
- Swimmers must be willing to get in the pool unassisted and must be willing to let go of the wall on their own. If there is a concern as to the level of your swimmer, contact the Head Coach prior to class starting. The Head Coach has the right to refer a swimmer to swim lessons if a swimmer is not ready for stroke school yet.
- Class sizes are limited to 10 each session. This is to ensure quality lesson time as well as safety.
- To allow maximum participation, each child may enroll in ONE session. You can sign up for both waitlists if available both weeks, but you will be offered a spot in one week or the other.
- If your swimmer attends at least 2 classes in a session, you will be charged for the entire session.
- If it is raining and we cannot swim, or we cannot swim for another reason stroke school lessons are not made up.
- Private swim lessons may be scheduled if more individual attention is needed.
- We request that at least one parent/guardian stay on club property during the session, in case we experience any issues or crying students.
